This site is operated by Nathan Parkhouse Advisory. This policy explains what information is collected on this site, why, and how it is handled. The short version: what you share here is used to respond to you and to run the services described on this site, and nothing else. It is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing by anyone other than Nathan Parkhouse Advisory.

What is collected

You can browse every page of this site without providing any personal information. Information is collected only when you choose to provide it:

• Requesting a guide. When you request one of the guides, your first name, last name and email address are collected, along with which guide you asked for, the page you asked from, and your agreement to join the email list.
• Booking a call. When you book a call, the scheduling service collects your name, email address, and your answers to the booking questions so the call can happen and be prepared for.

How it is used

• To email you the guide you requested.
• To send you occasional emails from Nathan about the team, book and growth decisions advisory practice owners face, because you agreed to join the list when you asked for a guide.
• To prepare for and follow up on conversations you request.
• To keep a record of your interactions with the practice in a customer relationship management system, so you never have to repeat yourself.

Everything you submit stays between you and Nathan. Submissions are read personally. You will not be added to third-party marketing lists.

The email list and unsubscribing

Joining the list is asked for with a checkbox that is never pre-ticked. Every email identifies Nathan Parkhouse Advisory, includes its mailing address, and tells you how to unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any email, by using the unsubscribe link where an email has one, or by writing to [email protected]. Unsubscribe requests are acted on promptly, as Canadian and US anti-spam law requires.

Service providers

A small number of service providers process information on this site's behalf: a customer relationship management platform (HubSpot) that stores contact details, guide requests and email preferences, Microsoft 365, from which Nathan's emails (including the guides) are sent, a scheduling service (Calendly) that handles call bookings, and the hosting platform that serves this site. Each processes your information only to provide its service.

Call recordings

With your consent, substantive calls are recorded and a copy of the recording is sent to you. Consent is confirmed on the call before any recording starts. Recordings are treated with the same confidentiality as everything else you share.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising cookies. Embedded services (such as the scheduler) may set their own functional cookies, governed by their own policies.

Retention and your choices

Information is kept for as long as it is useful for the purposes above. If you would like your information corrected or deleted, or want to know what is held about you, email [email protected] and it will be handled promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it.
